since unsubscribe not syncing - will it re-subscribe?

I've read the multiple conversations where you've clearly explained that if a user unsubscribes in MC, MC won't tell EE to update their subscription status. My question is, since EE still shows them subscribed, will EE ever send that info again to MC and re-subscribe a user?
