I installed your module and with the API Key I see all my
mail-lists in EE.
My own user is a registred memeber since a long time. I defined a
custom member field in EE which is called "Newsletter" with option
"Yes" and "No". Trigger value for this field is "Yes".
I see, that in my profile the value is also "Yes", but when I login into mailchimp and visit my list, I do not see my email as subscriber.
But, If a new member is regsitering on our site, he is coming directly in the list, so that works!
Any help?

Hi Thomas,
The behaviour you describe is as-intended. MailChimp Subscribe adds newly subscribed members of your site to MailChimp.
If you're using Solspace's User module, MailChimp Subscribe will also update a member's subscription preferences when he edits his EE member profile.
Cheers,
Stephen

Thank you!
I think we need to install Solesapce's Modul, otherwise we do not have the full function of your extension.
I am a little bit nervous, but there should be no problem with replacing my actual "Default Profile Theme" by installing Solespace, right? Because we have 20'000 members on our site...grml

Thomas,
I honestly don't know. You'd be better off asking Solspace.
One thing I should make clear, before you proceed with this; installing the User module will not result in MailChimp Subscribe automatically adding your 20,000 members to MailChimp.
The primary benefit of using the User module is that it enables MailChimp Subscribe to update the member's MailChimp subscriptions when he updates his EE profile. This simply isn't possible with the built-in EE member module.
Cheers,
Stephen

Shure, my solution for the 20'000 members is, that I export all email-adresses from our databse directly into mailchimp. Afterwards, every single user can decide if he wants to stay in this list or not by edit profile...should work I think.
thank you for your fast replies!
